S. Pearl is NOT the worst player in the rotation anymore. That distinction now belongs to Woolridge... he's just not very good and contributes little.

Pearl has actually played ok this year and has come up with timely rebounds, steals and even a few points here and there.

He's still not a D1 player, though. And he needs to quit arguing with the refs.

Pearl get's ZERO love in here and I don't know why. People think he is a liability on the floor when in reality he is not. He's a good role player. Understands his position and he is a superb defender. He's not a great scorer but he's not ASKED to be, and he doesn't make stupid shots when they are given to him.

The kid is not gonna score alot. But he will hustle, rebound and play defence. He is a nice piece of the puzzle.

Role players are supposed to do exactly what SP does, come in don't take stupid shots, rebound, give some fouls, make a pass and put a body on someone. If anyone says he doesn't do all those things relatively well, they're not watching the games.

Yeah but a lot of his shots come as the shot clock is winding down. He does not look to shoot.

Pearl does a lot of dirty work-is a very good defensive player-and is very useful contributing productive minutes so other guys can get a breather.

He does seem to have a better handle this year-and not as many random reverse layups.

I have no complaints about Pearl's play this season, but not sure how he will do playing the three position.

did Skylar leave the rotation?

I'm with this too, I get sick of people bashing Woolridge on here, the kid bleeds orange probably more than anyone on that team, and the way he incorporates his music with all of Tennessee athletics is pretty freakin sweet

And that means what on the court?

But you are ok with bashing Skylar who also bleeds orange? Is it just because he doesn't make rap videos? Or maybe because he doesn't bleed as much orange?

Renaldo has been active on defense and has had a few nice rebounds. His role is not to be a primary scoring option similar to SP's role. I think Renaldo has played relatively well and within himself to this point. I think with Maymon in the rotation it is tough luck for him to spend any time out of the rotation and he will undoubtably lose his minutes as CBP's rotation is usually set about the time SEC play comes around.
