I've never heard of that, but I'm not a huge seafood person. There's a place called Booty's fishouse in Royston, about an hour from here. Friend said it was awesome, a buffet, and they have shrimp and flounder on the buffet. I'm thinking about going this weekend. It might not be the right time of year, but check around for she-crab soup. Very mild, and rich, and creamy, and mmm.
I’ve never gotten happy with clams and mussels, although I’m working on it.
But she-crab soup, omg.
Fleet Landing – Restaurant & Bar in CharlestonBest I've ever had is at Garden City, SC, at GulfStream Cafe.
It’s hard to learn to love seafood when you live inland. Even when we’re on the coast, 95% of the menu is deep-fried. I find it hard to cook seafood for the proper amount of time, meaning not cook it until it’s leather.I've never heard of that, but I'm not a huge seafood person. I love fried rish, pretty much any kind. I like crab legs and shrimp. I trued some kind of stuffed crab when I was a kid, and it just turned me off, didn't like at all. If they have flounder stuffed with crab, you might want to try that. Flounder is mild and sweet, and although it’s wonderful with lemon and butter, you might want it a bit more amped up.
—but I forgot, you fish, so you probably have a lot more experience than I do!
