Can you tell from your reservations which Charlotte gate you’ll land at, and which one you’ll take off from? I’ve had many a sprint through that airport, mainly because the CLT->AVL flights use puddle-jumpers that have their own gates (E terminal.)

See if you can figure it out tonight. You can arrange for a free golf cart (more like golf minibus) if it’s going to be tight. And they don’t hold flights. Charlotte flights are at the mercy of Air Traffic Control slots, and when they say it’s time for a flight to leave, it had better leave then and there.

I hate flying through Atlanta. I have sat on the runway in Memphis for an hour due to ATL being backed up and missed my connection.

Then I was hungover on the next flight because I drank in the airport for hours. This may have happened more than once.
