Please don’t mention to people who live up there that you consider 2-3” of snow “bad weather”. The rest of the country already thinks Southerners are idiots. No need to provide them further ammo. Then get to the airport early! Gonna just eat there and look around to avoud getting caught out in bad weather.
It sounds worth doing, if only for the pain!Okay, definitely left mesh in her still, both in the groin and vaginal area. Not to be graphic, just explaining, we thought it was all gone from that area, and just in the groin. He said the way it moves when not attached to the bladder, can cause a lot of problems. It explains why she still has pain during personal time, along with just the constant pain she has, because it's on 2 different nerves. One tp the female region, and one to her bowels, that's just the piece left in the vaginal area. The ones in the groin cause other issues. He said it's pretty much a guarantee that it will help her pain. As far as helping with the infection, it's not so much of a guarantee. While it will help to get any foreign objects basically floating around out, he can't guarantee that it'll stop. It is likely helping to fuel it because her immune system attacks because of a foreign object in her, which weakens her and makes her susceptible for infection, he can't say that it'll definitely stop all these infections. Overall, as far as pain and quality of life, he said she'd be much better, because any nerve pain is awful. He did say he's never seen a patient like her, where they ended up losing their bladder, and said it's definitely 100% on the mesh for that. That definitely helps with her case, but that's secondary, her getting help is first. He said he has people fly from all over the country, and she's definitely unique, but that she should feel immediate relief pain wise, and hopefully it helps more than we can hope for the infections. Hopefully I make sense with this.
Oh definitely. We're hoping it'll help with the infection, but she's ecstatic at the thought of getting relief from the pain.It sounds worth doing, if only for the pain!
And as for retained foreign body stuff, even if it isn’t a perfect solution to the infections, you’d think the less in there, the better.
Anyway, it sounds like the trip has been worth it!
