Yes. The line lead here should know, and does from what I'm told, when you are out, or almost out of something. Old job, head fixer was told constantly, then his boss, who's job was to work with scheduling, and they'd still schedule stuff we couldn't run, then wonder why. I'm also saying in general, someone should have common sense, and before any machine is torn down to change, ask if we, you, they, whoever has the ability to run desired product.
