Where do you buy them? I get ours from Walmart, actually the only meat I buy from there. The USDA in the black styrofoam, they're always pretty tender. We've been on a thin kick lately, wife and kids always preferred those, but I've been eating their leftovers, and those thin ones are pretty dang good.I have given up on steaks. They are always so tough. I can’t remember the last time I had a nice and tender steak.

Yeah, that fat is what makes it goodI bought them at Walmart. I have never paid attention to the styrofoam. I just know it has been a long time since I have had a decent steak.
I did read an article which stated the cattle industry has been breeding out the amount of fat in cattle on the hoof in order to supply a healthier steak. That same article said they have gone too far. I agree!
