I'm going in a little later. I'm just ticked. We have this wire that has to be straightened, it's what we use to make needles. All of us, every shift, supposed to keep them running, every person. I usually do it on my shift, just to pass time. The other guys will say they don't have time, but spend hours watching Netflix. Same for day shift, i come in often, they're on the phone, and immediately say to me we need wire, they didn't have time. Without even trying, depending on the size of wire, I can run 4-6 spools a night. Monday and Tuesday, the other shifts ran 4, total, and I walked in yesterday, and they were out. Immediately the day shift guys start telling me they need it, while they're all gathered looking at phones. It just irked me, then one gets frustrated at a machine, comes and tells me he's done, and I can fix it, while I'm trying to get wire going, then sits down watching videos. I held my tongue to him, but went to our department lead. Then all night, nobody on our shift would help, just watching Netflix. I purposely did it slow, then when they completely ran out, saud I wasn't feeling great, and left. It wasn't a lie, i was stressing myself getting angry, because a guy got off his phone, to come tell me he needed wire. I done told him I'm not doing it tonight, told the lead guy, cause tonight I have to run 2 jobs. Already today, guy on day shift messaged me asking if I was coming early, I said no. They're needing wire, and been waiting for me to do it. I'd not be so angry, if this was young people, but they're all older than me by a few years, you'd think they'd have work ethic. I don't like being a person who says anything to bosses, but I'm about tempted to in the morning, obviously the lead guy didn't say anything, or they wouldn't be texting me about being there early, cause they need wire. I normally just go with it, but yesterday just irked me, and knowing I gotta run 2 jobs tonight, and thinking how there'll be no help just made me want to make them wait. Hope a boss comes by, and asks why they're not running the machines. Just ranting.
