I stopped to fix a flat bike tire for a Hispanic guy today, almost 100% sure he was an illegal alien. That's not going to stop me from being a nice guy. It also cost me $7 for the tube and CO2 cartridge. Helping people in need is very underrated.

I've never met either of those types.

I rode a greyhound down to NC when I was 16 and sat next to a guy who smelled like dried newspaper though.

I swear I saw you and your wife last night down at Jumbo-Ya-Ya... or what I imagine you two to look like anyways.

dried newspaper smells like dried newspaper ... go wet some news paper and leave it out and then you'll know the smell once the sun hits it and it dries.

And what, pray-tell, do you envision my wife and I to look like? :unsure:

Well, the wife looked like an Asian pornstar with huge fake hooters and the husband was wearing what I can only assume was an expensive suit with a dirty trucker hat on while smoking some kind of cigar.

IDK, just the first think that popped in my head was, "NEOCON?"

Actually, that comes pretty close volatile. I do wear an 1818 alot with a UT hat and my tie on shirt undone, while smoking a cigar very often. You crack me up with that one.

My wife does not have fake boobs though. She is very conservative and just looks like a soccer mom.

This is a stupid law. Not only that, it is unconstitutional.

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

-Fourteenth Amendment.

One doesn't need to read the bill to know that is a violation of said Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. They are trying to screen every single Hispanic person in Alabama for the sake of preventing illegal immigrants from unfairly benefitting from the system. Don't get me wrong, I believe that immigrants must come to the country legally, but there has to be a better way than this. This is simply profiling.

Are illegal aliens provided rights under the Constitution other than basic human rights? Who is being "shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. "? If you are a legal citizen, you shouldnt have a problem. I am failing to see where American citizens are having their rights under the 14th violated here.

And before you say that the 14th or the Constitution covers illegals, you might want to read the first line of the 14th that you failed to quote "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside"

So everyone has to carry papers on them in Arizona, right? I find that pretty ridiculous.

yes they have to carry an ID like a drivers license. you know, just like the rest of the country has to. the horror!


Yes the term "papers" has an ominous Nazi vibe but it's really just some form of ID.

Get caught speeding, can't speak english, have no driver's license or other form of ID --- how is suspecting that person is an illegal alien some kind of discriminatory profiling?

It isn't like Obama said, you are going out for ice cream with the kids and you are detained and must produce all your immigration paperwork or birth certificate.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought 'papers' meant birth cirtificate/immigration papers.
