Radiohead are an English rock band formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke, brothers Jonny Greenwood and Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway. They have worked with producer Nigel Godrich and cover artist Stanley Donwood since 1994.
They do, but not in the numbers released even three years ago. But where are you going to buy them now there are no record stores and Walmart has removed their cd racks.
And yes, as a former member of NARAS I am aware of the categories. Want Michael Greene’s phone number?
Goose - Dripfield
Agree: the live shows are ridiculously good. Some people aren't big on the long jams (AKA Mrs Kiddiedoc), so studio albums have their place. The only letdown for me is the album version of Slow Ready. Love the song live.Goose with Trey at RCMH last weekend was good. Their Peach fest set last night was also really good. Goose
Haven't heard the whole album but some of the arrangements are bizarre to me. Studio Hot Tea and Arrow sound really weird. I rarely listen to albums anymore so not a big deal. Live versions are still the same.
Gooose! Somehow missed them recently, but really wanted to see them and a couple others similar. Did get to see Lettuce and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and both were great. Did get to see one of the members of Goose come up with PPPP which was a nice consolation prize. Some think Goose will be headlining before too long. Hitting on a meteoric rise. Two of the best albums I've heard in several years dropped recently:
Goose - Dripfield
Zach Bryan - American Heartbreak
I'll be listening to both by the pool today
Can't tell if serious ha ha.Radiohead ?
Glad to hear about Florence. Seeing them live was special. Only seen Wilco for the first time last year, but have really loved them since. Lead singer is great.I have listened to the new Wilco album once, need to listen to it another time or two before full judgement. I wasn't blown away, but I was hoping for Being There so the expectations were too high.
What I have heard of the new Florence & the Machine album, I really like.
I was joking. I heard of the band name but cannot identify one song by them. I’m an old timer and my playlist for the most part is 60’s and 70’s.Can't tell if serious ha ha.
They've won multiple grammies and 40+ other awards, listed in Rolling Stone's top-100 musical artists of all-time, and are in the Rock and Roll HOF, while only being a rock band for the very early years. Had some of the most critically acclaimed albums in the 90s and 2000s. That said, you'd unlikely ever hear them on the mainstream radio, except maybe their early stuff, like Creep. They aren't pop music, for instance. They've also headlined about every major music festival there is. Not just headlined, but headlined the 1(a) spot. For about 20 years now and making albums for about 30.
