PG only goes back to 2017 in terms of the class recruiting, I will look into finding data on Arky Recruiting going back 3 more years...but...

in 2017 Arkansas tried to sign 20, six were drafted but only two signed. Signed players are not included in the final rankings and they still finished 3rd, behind VU and UF. I looked at VU, they tried to sign 18, five were drafted, none signed, no surprise there.

UF tried to sign 13, 8 were drafted, 3 signed.

I think they only show kids that made it to campus. So if a kid is cut loose late they don't count in those numbers

I believe the last few years Corbin has signed around 20 with hopes of getting 10-12 on campus. I think last year none of the signees went pro so he ended up with 16 freshmen.

Let's put it this way...

Casey Martin and Heston Kjerstad are batting .343 and .336 to lead Arky in batting...they are freshman, so they are definitely CTV recruits...heck the whole line up is loaded (Team BA, .299) and he had a big hand in it...

I'm excited.


Edit: Heck the team BA in SEC Only is .302...

A smart guy would. I'm having trouble between deciding between Arky and Ole Miss...stat wise very similar and Ole Miss took 2 of 3 in Oxford, both 1 run games though.

A few others picked them too. I was so caught up in picking against Florida I didn't notice.

I'm also having trouble because I was really impressed with how Ole Miss was playing in Hoover, but the lay off...UF if they don't get their pitcher back and JJ...I wouldn't feel comfortable picking them based on Hoover...They may be playing possum though.

Yes he can recruit. He did it at Mizzou, then just loaded TCU up then left for Arkansas and he loaded them up. He came in here late and got several top recruits in a short time to get the 18 class to 6th according to Perfect Game. All the top kids in the 18 class were recruited by TV.

Floridas offense has fallen off dramatically. I don't think they get that back. Their pitching will get them to the supers

Rumor has it that CTV has personally visited with the top draft guys numerous times selling them and their parents on college vs. going Pro out of HS.

Whatever it takes. I'm serious about that too. It's been a long road for Tennessee Baseball, so if a few feathers get ruffled in the process so be it.

Serrano, from all I can gather, was above board and honorable to a fault...I respect that, I do.

I'm ready to get some players in here that can help us be competitive in the SEC and we have some work to do on that front and this seems to be his wheelhouse.

Whatever it takes, short of violations...I'm all in!
