Are you effin' kidding me? 3 months for "expert craftsmen/artists" to come up with that POS? I've seen better metal ashtrays from middle school metal shop classes. JMO.
I think Doyle nailed it close; looks like an ice cream cone Robby or Rosie the Robot would eat.

Reminds me of one of those pen holders you see attached to the counter at the bank, all that is missing is the chain.

Why is a new trophy even needed? The BCS never bothered to create their own trophy, and it's not like the Coaches are going to award the crystal ball to a team other than the winner of the playoff. This just seems so pointless.
