To all of the Holly supporters, do you still think she deserves another season? To all the Diamond haters, she really made us at least look at least decent. Offense was terrible again, no real game plan, team lacks fundamentals badly, but some still think Holly is the one. I'm hoping this is the straw the broke the camel's back. Holly needs to be fired or resign at the end of the season. This team has really tuned her out and looks lost and frustrated. Thoughts?

I still think Holly will be back next year and the team will most likely be worst unless Diamond completely takes over. A loss to a team that had to ask for walk-ons is a hard pill for a once proud program to swallow but will not effect the decision to bring Holly back. I think that decision has already been made due to the contract extension. I'm starting to pity the poor coach that will be charged to figure this mess out, especially with a short bench.

If Holly comes back next season, this program is history. It will be to hard to revive, the way it is sinking.

For those who post on The Summitt, I'm curious to know how Cooper's dad feel? I think he post on the board. Also I wonder are fans still supportive of Holly or realized that it is time for a change? Not trying to stir the pot, just curious since I was subscribe to the site for many years.

I agree with you.

Carter needs to just graduate and move on. I can't even think about her coming back next year....

No way Holly gets fired when UT is in the midst of a Title IX lawsuit. She would sue UT, add fuel to the negative publicity, cause even more problems for UT... and receive a big settlement. The LVs may lose players, fans and prestige after this horrific season, but Holly will be back for another year.

WHY do you not have your five best free throw shooters in the game for the last two minutes knowing the opponent IS GOING TO FOUL!!!!!!!???????

Bad decisions in the last five minutes of the game. Camera showed the LSU huddle and their players were hearing one voice, all eyes focused on their coach who was in charge and giving instructions. The Tennessee bench was just the opposite. Holly was looking from side to side listening to that assistant or another. Not in control and finally started talking to her team after the horn buzzed to get back on the floor. To late! Very indecisive. Half the starters were listening to one coach, the other half was trying to listen to Holly. Who is running the team? No wonder they look lost on the floor.

When the rankings come out we will fall out of the top 25 for the first time in about 30 years. What a fall. We have attitude problems, technical problems (what happened to our free-throw shooting?), effort problems, brain problems. And we have seven McDonald's All-Americans. If the coaching staff can't make improvements in any of those areas, maybe it is time to make an improvement in the coaching staff.

Holly Warlick will be the coach for the 2016-2017 season.

She may well be, but I don't understand her purpose of coming back. She's terrible as a HC. No recruits for 2016 and probably none for 2017. AAU and college coaches are going to use this season as persuading recruits on why not to attend Tennessee. This program is destroyed with Holly leading the way. Why would she come back. It will be same story different season. Baylor and Lauren Cox is going to mop the floor with the Lady Vols next season. Holly doesn't care about offense and that's one of the team's greatest weakness. Tennessee is still playing this 1980s brand of basketball and Holly refuses to change. My goodness just resign!

She is the one who needs to be sued for pretending to be a coach. Everyone that has been calling for
Dunbar, well you saw in the first half that she had one three, gave two straight baskets, and then allowed a guard to push her out of bounds to get a rebound.

Diamond haters, she does what she does to try and keep us in the game. She tries to make hard passes, I understand that, but if she doesn't create her own shot, then we are forced to throw up one with 2 or 3 seconds remaining on the shot clock, since we use most of it to dribble around the three point line. And one last thing, why would anybody be asking for Tyler, he has proven nothing in the coaches ranks. Go get us a Coach that can coach, and have discipline, and recruit, since we have none of that at the present time.

Why would she want to resign and give up all that money?

She's worked over 30 years for a public university. She must have a great retirement package setup. Why not take it now while you can enjoy it? Maybe the new coach could even hire her and let her hold the clipboard or something.

She won't resign and give up that money. And if we fire her this year, she will sue for even more money. UT will give her a year to turn things around and meet goals and expectations. Hart's not going to walk into a sure lawsuit.

You are right, but she claims she loves the program so much. Just admit you are in over your head and what you are doing is not working. She is literally destroying this program. I'm not a coach, but even I know a few sets on how to attack a zone! She's terrible and I'm hoping she's hearing it from the fans. It's time for a change.
