A friend of mine keeps telling me you need to give this guy a chance, and I am but its going to be on a 3 strike system if this is truly the best staff in america and the hires that he is going to make then this is strike one he has two more. I am on the jones train till strike 3 which will probably come time next season maybe before then.

Don't waste our time. Get your azz on another train now!

You must understand that he won at Cincy with two and three star players. He will upgrade those players at Tennessee. Do not get all stressed out about what BJ can do. Let him worry about that, it is why he makes 3 mill per year. Everything is going to be ok, take another valium and you will be fine. The sky is not falling, we are going to be able to recruit better players than Cincy had. Also, BJ beat Virginia Tech, Pitt, U Conn , Louisville with his two and three star players. We couldnt beat Vir . Tech with 4 star players.

Jones simply should have not said he was going to hire the best staff in the country. He should have said he was going to bring in coaches he is familiar with are also great teachers. He could have said he was going to bring in a couple of TN guys and some guys who can recruit.

Next time I talk to him I'll relay your comments. Maybe he'll hire you as his speech writer.

Maybe you should chill and understand the majority of the fanbase is in a wait and see mode with this new coach. We dont just jump in yeah yeah were gonna win a Nat. Championship because he gave a good introduction speech. He said he was gonna assemble the best staff. Were watching that and seeing his guys come in from cinci. I dont think a person here thought cinci had the best staff in america last year. We have the right to be critical of that based off what he said and what were seeing. Maybe they are the best. Dont know yet.....Im trying to buy in. Trying hard man.

How is everyone gonna feel when our staff is nothing but Cincinnati guys. Best staff in america? I will at least say Dooley won the press conference too but he assembled a respectable staff. Im trying to find something positive to have hope he will turn it around. At this point all I got is he has a buzz cut like general neyland did. What say you?

I was depressed when he was named the new HC. But seeing that we are stuck with him, I tried to look at the positives. His declaring that they would hire the best staff in the country gave me a bit of hope that he could make up some ground in recruiting. Now it appears his idea of hiring best staff in the country meant he's just bringing his staff with him...seeing that they are now out of work, because he left. He feels the need to look out for them, even though it's not in the best interests of the University of Tennessee (maybe they were a great fit for UC....but not for UT).

I can see your looking at the positives is working for you.....whew. Sure am glad your not looking at negatives.

Recruiting is the main issue evidently most of these guys can coach as they have won 19 and lost 6 the last two seasons. The Big East does not recruit like the SEC you can't win big with two and three star players.

Not happening.
Yes, CBJ has an "infallible plan" but to implement and successfully execute that "plan" at this level he will need to elevate his staff. I'm sure this was discussed (prior to) and one of Hart's stipulations.
Look for CBJ to bring in a strong, proven DC (Zook, Heacock or Narduzzi are worth taking a run at) to compliment his and CMB offense.
