I believe in the Constitution, also. However, some liberties are abused... like the 2nd amendment.

really? how many gang bangers cite the 2nd amendment when they're being arraigned for a drive by shooting?

Then why are you worried about the 2nd amendment regarding this election?

Never said I was. Just repsonding to the idea that she is more interested in things of this nature and Obama is more interested in "helping people". I'll choose her views in respect to who I wish to be leading this country.

because Obama and Biden both have reputations as gun grabbers. Obama has already stated that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is his model for his SCOTUS nominees.

Not many, but people like that don't need to. It wouldn't help them anyways. I'm just extremely annoyed by the people that fight for their right to bear arms, tooth and nail. If more gun control will save more lives of innocent people in the long run, then I'm all for it.

Are you assuming I don't feel the same way? I don't like abortion UNLESS it's completely necessary to save the mother's life. I won't ban it, but I think that it needs more restrictions. (Am I Marxist now?)

You may be correct to an extent, but it could start with the manufactures not making guns that can be easily concealed... Although then that would get in the way of our right to self-defense, eh?

aren't you the one who called me stupid on the 1st page of this thread and then tried to equate community organizing with a Constitutional right?

It does not matter what kind of gun you want, I can go to Parsons Ave in Columbus Ohio and get any thing you want for less than $100.

I know 3 victims, 2 fatal and one that now lives as a vegetable... does that count?

There are other ways to kill, sure. Knives, poison, rope, tape, plastic bag... ect ect. I could use my small toe somehow. But the easiest way to effectively kill someone is with a gun. It only takes one shot and you don't even have to be at a close range.

One of my friends was killed at her birthday party because some gang decided to do a drive-by on a house that was on the next block. There was no one home and a bullet hit her in the throat. Severed her jugular.

Please, explain what that has to do with my comment? I must be missing something... My response is completely competent.

Except, guess what... "in the long run" allowing people who follow the law to have guns in their possession to protect themselves from the criminals who could care less about the law will save FAR more lives.

I'd say you are far above the average. I have no personal friends murdered by a gun.

Correct, the gang banger did not buy the weapon legally.

Of course the blame will be shifted back to the company/industry that makes the gun.

The problem is not attacking the problem, which is the gang banger................

COURIC: And when it comes to establishing, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this to stay informed and understand the world?

PALIN: I’ve read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media.

COURIC: Like what ones specifically?

PALIN: Umm… all of them. Any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.

COURIC: Can you name any of them?

PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news…

Good Lord. Put this poor woman out of her misery already.

Maybe she should have asked Biden what brand TV he was watching when he saw FDR address the American people when the stock market crashed.

You think Palin would make a better president than Obama?

Seriously?

yes. she doesn't have the experience to be corrupt as obama does. it seems obama surrounds himself with thugs and terrorists. funny how you libs can easily overlook this. but you guys are used to it. you're party is filled with lawyers. so you guys are used to seeing people with no ethics.

He "surrounds himself" with terrorists? Man, have you bought the closet-Muslim fear tactic hook, line, and sinker.

No, he only when into the closet when he began a Presidential campaign.

Obama’s sudden aversion to NOI and Farrakhan is belied by the fact that Obama employed and continues to employ several Farrakhan acolytes in high positions on his Illinois and U.S. Senate campaign and office staffs.
