Daniel Lincoln PK 6-0/195/4.5 Ocala, FL

Career Long 52 yarder, has hit from 67 in practice, started kicking off the ground last January, Lifelong UF fan. Hit a 52 yarder at UF camp in front of Meyer who never offered.
UT went last Friday to check him out, came back discussed it and called to offer today, he went home and discussed it with his parents and called Fulmer back to commit.

Good lord!? If that dude runs a 4.5 and is a kicker, our kickoff coverage is going to be hellacious.

He could make the tackle after he kicked off or just send it thru the endzone. Sounds like a great commit if he keeps his word.

Sounds great. I remember us talking about recruiting a kicker to replace Wilhoit when his time is up. Sounds like this guy will be a beast. I beat if he does sign, he would love to drop a 50+ yarder to beat the Gators.

not only does he run a 4.5 40, but he also has strength #s along the lines of 325 bench, 485 squat, 285 power clean. hes a hoss of a kicker.

Could this guy be talented enough to play more than one position? If his size and speed are correct he could double as a DB if needed. From what I have heard, great freakin leg.

What are Tennessee fans getting in Daniel Lincoln?

“I never get outworked by anybody and no one sets higher goals than I do. I’m all about business. I’m not there to just wear a jersey, I’m there to win football games. I’ll go down and hit somebody and make a tackle. I do the little things. That’s what gotten me this far.”

You don't play your kicker at multiple positions (even if he is talented enough) because of injury. The drop off to your backup (non-scholarship) place kicker is usually dramatic.
