Maybe you missed the thread yesterday where I argued til I was blue in the face that the idea of Butch being on the hot seat if he goes 5-7 is ridiculous. Questioning a recruit who has offers from Chattanooga, Florida gulf coast, west ky, and Louisiana lafayette is not being negative, its being objective.

Heard Ben Fredricks (sp?, KNS basketball guy) on the radio a little while ago. He talked with one of McGhee's coaches at Hargrave. Said Jabari is currently 6'8 210. Said he is very athletic, has a high motor, runs the floor well, and will be a perfect fit in terms of the system we are trying to run. He is not a polished shooter at this point. He is expected to sign his LOI tomorrow.

Not the cream of the SEC crop obviously, but at this point (depleted roster, late in the game with a new coach and us being bashed in the national media), if we can land a player with multiple SEC offers at a position of need, I think that is a solid win and a very nice pick-up.

297Th best player in the country. WE beat out Florida Gulf Coast and Western Kentucky. No SEC offers. Don't put lipstick on a pig. No where close to Four Stars. A solid 2 star player.

He took his Auburn visit 9/23 2012. 20 months no offer and a coaching change. Yeah they were all over him. An offer is when they ask you to come play at their school. Which no sec team did.
