New lineup...New philosophy

Cuonzo's offensive philosophy is "derp"
What offensive philosophy? Never in the history of college basketball, has the highest scoring cumulative staff (of previous college players) displayed such pathetic offensive incompetence as CCM and his staff at UT. Try as you will, CCM apologist, this is a fact you can't spin.

He's done a better job than buzz. It's nice to know you want a crappier coach than Zo

Remember Jerry Green? He was another guy that made the NCAA tournament every season that he was in Knoxville, and he got kicked to the curb for Buzz ball.

I do not know you are but guarantee that you would never say that to my face in a public setting. Coward behind a keyboard.

Unkindest Regards,

That guy has serious anger issues.Either he's 70 years old and he's angry that the end is near, or he's 13 and he's angry that his balls haven't dropped.

South Carolina lost to Manhattan by 18 points tonight. Playing them will definitely hurt our RPI. What the heck is up with the SEC? I guess Frank Martin wishes he had stayed at KState

He burned a lot of bridges on his way out of the OTHER Manhattan :banghead2:

You are probably right. I just do not understand how some people can get so bent out of shape over debating sports on a message board. Believe me, I have heard worse from people and do not get offended easily. I Guess that I think it is kind of weird to cuss out complete strangers over differentiating opinions. VN is about having fun, posting stupid gifs, and discussing the VOLS for the most part. It is guys like that that would turn people away but not me.:)

I agree. That guy just drops in on random threads and starts going off on people. That's ridiculous.

The pet stores stopped selling feeder rats to him because he couldn't procrastinate torturing them before purchase :furious3: :furious3:

Barton needs to get healthy or wake up, he's played poorly recently and it's hurt. Stokes also needs to show up in big games, twice this year he's disappeared against good teams, can't happen.

Yeah I agree. If he is gonna play less than 20 minutes per, he needs to start being more agressive on the offensive end. He only had 1 attempt against WSU.

he and others are being held back, imo. I don't think its coincidence that Stokes' arguably best game was his first one as a freshman, and he hasn't shown the offensive skill he showed that night since. Bartons best games were his first ones. Now, it looks like he's supposed to walk it up, pass to the wing and just stand there. Barton is playing nothing like he did when he played at Memphis.

Disagree, Stokes had a couple games this year that were much better than his first game. Against Xavier (2nd game) and wake Forest, he looked like the player we all were hoping for.

Stokes first game as a freshman at Ky is the best offensive game he has shown from a skill standpoint. He hit 15 ft jumpers, hooks, finished smoothly and strong and ran the court with a smile on his face the entire time. He hasn't had an offensive game like that since. He has had putbacks on rebounds and scored more, but his offensive skill set has decreased since he stepped foot on campus, or at least hasn't increased.

I saw an 18 foot jumper and hooks with his left hand in those games

sweet. So he has taken a jumper and a couple of hooks in the 60 games that followed his first. It's a start I suppose.

All I was saying was that he has shown flashed of progression in his game and being a dominate player. He has said himself he has to come out on a nightly basis and be aggressive and demand the ball. He didn't do that against Wichita, what he did do though was something all too familiar, get into foul trouble.

I know man. It's just disappointing to see him as a jr not have any additional offensive skills and the coaching of poor spacing kills me. He will get the ball and we'll have a wing guy like J rich just standing there, which allows the guy guarding him to help easily. Or, we will run a pick and roll with a guard and have a wing guy on the same side, which virtually makes that pick and roll useless.
Basic basketball spacing and attack lanes is just lost on this staff.
