IF one day the MLB decided to put all players in a draft pool, who do you think would be the first couple of players drafted in each position?

SP- Felix Hernandez/Roy Halladay
RP-Romero/Soriano
CP-Francisco Rodriguez/F.Cordero
C- Mike Napoli/Russell Martin
1B-Adrian Gonzalez/Mark Tiexiera
2B-Robinson Cano/Brandon Phillips

3B-Evan Longoria/David Wright
LF-Matt Holliday/Josh Hamilton
CF-Ken Griffey jr..jk..Matt Kemp/Torii Hunter
RF-Jay Bruce/Andre Ethier

DH-Paul Konerko/A.J. Pierzynski

I know I missed some others but thats just off the top of my head.

You could move Han Ram to 2b because that's where he best fits on defense

Wilson Valdez is a 33 year old journeyman.

Whoops, trying to multi task. Got him confused with Espinosa from Nats. I guess Zimmerman at third wouldn't be too bad. Probably would take him over Wright.

Zimmerman over Longoria could easily happen, as well.

I wonder what mine would be to start a franchise around...

2B - Cano, Phillips
3B - Zimmerman, Longo

Brandon Phillips isn't near the player that Pedrioa is, I'm not being a homer here, it isn't that close.

I agree that Pedrioa is better but it is close. Phillips is the best defensive 2B in baseball right now and the only 2B in NL history in the 30-30 club.

Yeah, worries me a whole whole lot, too... People can bounce back from tommy john, though. Strasburg's is the elbow, Prior's was the shoulder.

If he's healthy he will live up to the "best prospect of the generation" hype
