New Nike uniform for softball?

Guessing most of y'all saw the uniform unveiling yesterday. Anybody know if there's an orange uniform for the softball team? I really pray they didn't take away our orange pants!

Deerpark said in the football forum that both the baseball and softball teams will have 5 uniforms. The others just weren't completed in time for the reveal.

I guess we have a different definition of "close" then because the concepts posted above aren't anywhere close to the actual uniforms.

The real uniforms have no trim around the numbers, a vastly different number font, no "Vols" under the collar and no checkerboard pattern on the shoulders. The real uniforms have an orange collar on the road jersey and a T on the collar. The Smokey Gray is completely different, with the dark gray shoulders, an orange number, etc.

The only thing the concepts have in common with what was unveiled is they're orange and white.

I wasn't referring to any smokey grey when I commented but the Orange and White with some black outline, V-necks, swoosh, similar material and stitching, simple clean patterns, similar sleeves, tight fitting, etc. They'll add the SEC logos later. Don't see a lot of difference.

They wanted to show the ugly one first. Nike gets one ugly uniform for each team and they thought they'd roll out the ugly one first for softball.

And with a background made for a sci fi movie -- why is it do these 'creative' photographers think a dark shadowy photo is 'nice' or as tweens say 'sick'

Because designs for the other three softball jerseys were finalized too late for prototypes to be made for the "fashion show." Same for baseball.

At any rate the uniforms most likely will look a lot better outside and with the team issued socks and shoes --

Uniforms likes and dislikes are all based on ones preference....I like the grey softball uniform a great deal....When they add ribbons to their hair it will really add.

As long as the players like them, then I'm fine with any of them. They are the ones that are going to be competing for us....We'll be either in the stands, or on the couch.

The Nike uniforms are making the kids happy...This is good.
