Oh he did. Thats what started it. He said if in state prospects wanted to win championships they would not go to southern miss. Usm just rubbed it in mullens face and spanked houston in cusa champ.

Ole miss and state have no excuse to lose out on in state prospects because they are in the SEC. Its funny but sad that usm gets as many as those two.

The reason Dykes got everyone riled up was because La Tech was supposed to play us this season, but bought out of the contract, then opened his mouth about teams he won't be seeing anytime in the future...

There is literally ONE prospect in Dan Mullen's 5 recruiting classes that we "lost" to USM, and that was Anthony Alford. USM also hired his highschool coach(who Alford had previously lived with) as Offensive Coordinator. USM is not even on State or OM's radar when it comes to recruiting competition.

I will give them credit though on player development and "diamond in the rough" evaluations though, because they do more with less than anyone in the country CONSISTENTLY. :good!:
