New Orleans Saints Thread

Lol two words: bye week. Was hoping they'd come out swinging in the dome against the whiners.

Sunday was Drew Brees' ninth career game with at least five touchdowns, tied with Peyton Manning for the most in NFL history.

The Aints needs to blow up the team and rebuild. I would trade Ingram if i were them and see what i could get for him.

Sad. And totally unnecessary. Condolences to the family. And his wife, godspeed in her recovery

RIP, Will

Who Dat

Where my fellow Saints fans at?? I've seen a good number of you guys in different threads around the forums here.

Just to kick us off with some good discussion, how about last season?? That was awesome and what a turn around. We should have played in the NFC title game, but hey that's how it goes. I think we have some awesome stuff to build on for this next season.

In regards to the draft, what positions do you think we need to address? Certain players you'd like to go after?

I believe we should start looking for a QB that we can let sit behind and learn from Drew for his last few years and hopefully have a successful transition when that time comes. Because unfortunately, it will be sooner rather than later.

I'll tell you who I would like out of this QB class that may not be the most popular choice: Baker Mayfield. Put him with a coach like Payton and let him learn from Brees for a couple-few years.. I like it.

Michael Thomas and Marshon Lattimore have both been great first picks. Oh and that OT who’s name I can’t remember the one they traded cooks for

Last year they hit on a ton of players which made up for a lot of bad/average picks in rounds 1-3 over the years

Did anybody see Avery Johnson's press conference after Alabama won their opening game in the NCAA Tourney? He went out of his way to praise Benson and send his condolences. I liked Avery when he was with the Spurs, but since he's been at Bama, that changed. Still, I'm starting to like him again, class move by Avery.
