Let me start by sayin I'm not trying to be negative at all.

Does anyone think it strange that we did not get at least 1 commitment after the O&W game. I do!! The fact that other top schools seem to be getting early commits trickeling in a few at a time leads me to wonder if our program is really in this bad of a situation.

Do you people expect miracles? We have a head coach who has been in place for what 3 months. Just how do u expect him to form relationships with new players in a lil over 2 months? Its not like he's selling a Nat'l title contender either. Get a grip on reality

Good Lord. Seems like this fan base needs a lesson on patience and how good things come to those who wait.

I understand. I am surprised that we did not get at least a home state kid after the O&W game however.

I think it speaks to the state of where we are right now. I have confidence in this staff to get recruits in here and hope they do it well. I think you may be over simplifing it just a bit however.

There are more reasons for the slow start than just the CDD new hire. JMO..

the staff has only been here 3 months. to ask them to get commits after a scrimage when most recruits have known the other coaches, stability wise, for years is foolish.
we will be fine. we have plenty of time. plus if you think about it we have 6-8 guys that have us as a lead who we should get commits from in the next couple months. dont fret, dooley knows what he is doing and will get the job done.

-avery walls(almost committed at o&w)
-allen carson(we lead)
-rory anderson(we lead by alot)
-worley(most think we lead)
-kerbyson(most think we lead)
-alonzo harris(if offered would come here:grew up a fan of ut))
-luatua(we lead by alot:thought of committing)
-antonio richardson(some think we lead:either way are in good position)
-sterling bailey(some think we lead)
-gionni paul(mom likes us)
-ronnie harris(some think we lead:very good relationship with dooley)
-justice hayes(some think we lead:grew up a fan:has listed ut as one of top suiters)

I mean im not really surprized. this coaching staff is 3 years behind alot of coaching staff's and i knew this was going to happen. thats why kiffin was shooting his mouth off and being on the news every day so he could recruit and kids would know who he was.

BUUUt lets not open that can again

i think we will do alright maybe top 20 class this year, and that i think would be great conidering wha they have to work with.....unless dooley gets out there and kicks ass then things will be different in a hurry.

lets say we got all those guys....what would our class be ranked? are there any 5 stars in there or 4 stars?

Too bad Worley doesn't think that...he said we are in his top 3 to 5.

Who the hell is "some"? They think UT leads for everyone apparently.

Either way, that list gets the point across. Dooley and Co. aren't sitting in their nice new offices twiddling their thumbs. An 18 year old kids word doesn't mean much a year away from signing day, so what does it really matter? :cool2:

I get what your saying but that list doesn't give me any sense of validation though, something a little more concrete would be nice.

We are in for a beat down this fall. Drink all the Kool Aid you want. A 5 win season awaits again. We'll be better in a few years. Maybe three if Dooley can coach. BTW I like Dooley so far.
