I missed the mail from our fanatics people last night but here's the VolNation affiliate link if anyone decides to purchase. Using the link gives us a couple bucks and it doesn't cost you any more.

College Nike Shoes, NCAA Nike Sneakers, Slides, Flip Flops, Socks | Fanatics
I love fanatics, we use it often. Never had an issue until recently, when my wife tried to order her dad and friend a Georgia shirt for their birthday. They kept sending her friend the wrong size, it'd say the right size on the package, but it was 2 sizes smaller. They sent her dad's to somewhere in New York, twice. I told her if that was a sign that Georgia sucy, then she'll never get it🤣. Just thought I'd share that. I told her those poor people handling anything with UGA on it obviously the dumb rubbed off😁.

Pegasus has been my favorite running shoe for decades , so my first glance I said , this is a running shoe that just happens to be orange and white with UT logo. But they look too dressy for running and will get dirty pretty fast. I'd prefer a darker color.

Just me, but I'd lay out money for something closer to this:

Does anyone know if schools have any say in what a shoe brand manufactures for their fanbase?

As I recall, Nike (or Adidas or whoever) usually generates an overall pool of choices that fit within the style they're going for in a particular cycle, and then they sit down with the school representatives and say "which of these do you want to go with next year?" They don't wholesale force everything on the schools, but they do keep them within a walled garden of similar looks that they're geared up to manufacture. You get a bit more attention with alternates or things that can Make More Money (tm), I imagine, but for a lot of it, it's basically like ordering from a menu at McDonalds.

They give schools a bit of participatory engagement -- you know, just enough to keep people from jumping ship -- but only so much. Designing for hundreds of schools, every year, it'd be hell anyway. Best just make them from the same templates and give disappointed clients appropriate price breaks to keep conforming.

For shoes, I'd imagine it's a similar experience. Ugh. I know Tennessee was all about switching to Nike, but the Adidas stuff always felt so much nicer to me as a consumer. sigh

Unisex?
They'll need their own bathroom.
I know you’re joking, but I believe Nike uses unisex sizing for a lot of their shoes. It makes a lot more sense than having the women’s size just be the men’s size + 1, especially for styles that are gender-neutral.

They’re clean as hell, but that white will be trashed after one big a$$ tailgate or pits to tits in the stands with people walking to the concessions or the pi$$er stepping on your white kicks. Need a Smokey gray or black version, imo. Maybe next year…

I ordered these custom on Nikes website, they should be delivered soon. I know the orange will not but the correct color but hopefully they will be somewhat close.
