Something tells me these shoes are going to go the way of those god-awful orange ones we wore against Bama in '88 and got waxed something like 56-28.

They were a one-and-done thing and next thing you knew there were people mysteriously showing up in such far away places as Latvia, Belarus and Chechnya wearing Tennessee orange football shoes.

Clean house for allowing tradition to be broken like this.

Real talk though I agree with those that are saying they're having a hard time seeing those with our normal uniforms. Still look like some cool shoes and it should bump our overall team "swag" rating up a point or two if we are in fact wearing these during the game. Honestly if it gets the guys pumped up just a little bit more then I'm all for it.

Well that will take away the excitment of playing Duke. Those are god awful and only tard would choose those for the Vols to wear unless Lady came before Vols. F 'N UGLY!

I think that there could be some blue trim in the unis. At least I hope. Those shoes look out of place with just orange and white unis.

This must be a joke? The dukies would never wear orange shoes. Why would we wear blue shoes even if they were blue suede shoes (Carl Perkins).
