I LOVE the gray color the team started wearing a year or two ago. As for these, they are hideous. The checkboard on the shoulder is a fail.

They wouldn't be so hard to look at if the checkerboard was orange and white, with the torso being grey.

I agree. Loved last years alternate uniforms, but I ain't feeling these at all. Still don't understand why folks hate on the black jerseys. If they would have had black pants trimmed with Tennessee orange then that would have been a very sharp uniform. I love the traditional uniforms and want to always keep them, but I like breaking out an alternate uni once or twice a year.

I doubt the team would change the jersey that drastically without releasing properly done promo pictures. You guys soak up your tears.

They aren't pretty by any means, but you do have to remember the sleeves on the game jerseys are real tight and barely go over the shoulder pads. It might not look AS bad with tight shorter sleeves.
