New Terrorist Attack

Endless supply of these dumb*sses. That's the problem.

That's our second most important problem in that regard.

"The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, muslims our soldiers."

The number one problem is stupid *ssed governmental policies brought about by liberal PC groupthink and imbedded enemies within our own government.

The news just said Obama wants to "down play the incident" as to not create panic. No panic here, but then again I never fly!

Although we may soon be worrying about our safety in places other than the sky...unfortunately.

Connecting the dots.

Hoekstra brought up the fatal Fort Hood shootings allegedly perpetrated by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who is reportedly linked to a Islamic cleric in Yemen, Hoekstra said this Northwest incident could be “one more indication” that the al Qaeda branch there may be planning more attacks.

The Michigan Republican has frequently been critical of the Obama administration's handling of national security issues.

U.S. officials have said that there is no indication that the Northwest incident was part of a broader operation.

OOOOOHTAAAAAY, Islamic jihad against America isn't part of a broader operation. duh why didn't I get that????

"Are we seeing a breakdown in our intelligence community so that when we see these red flags we aren't recognizing them? That's something that's going to have to be investigated in our committees," he said.

When asked what the specific red flags were, Hoekstra said he didn't know yet. But he said the White House has "been totally unwilling" to share information with lawmakers about red flags that could have prevented terrorist acts. For example, Hoekstra said officials knew about emails sent from Army Major Nidal Hasan before he opened fire at Fort Hood.

"Congress needs to push to get access to this information to answer these questions," he said. "Al Qaeda doesn't take a holiday and neither should we."

No sh*t Sherlock!!!

Obama's way of downplaying the incident.

Visit a Marine base.

Why would he be worried about it?
He is going to sit down and negotiate a peaceful end, with the terrorists that have an all out hate for us.
Right after he apologizes for us being a free country, that in the past has not stood for anyone trying to take that away.

Rich boy bomber based in Londonistan.

Mutallab reportedly confessed to the FBI that he was acting on the orders of al Qaeda - on a "mission to bring down a jet on US soil". He was said to have told investigators he had explosive powder, supplied to him in Yemen, taped to his leg and had used the syringe of chemicals to mix with it to create an explosion.

Between the terrorists and the Obamas we will be lucky to make it out alive...

Yore one of them thar serfs from the provinces whut
clings to yore guns and yore religion, aint'cha??

People like us ARE considered enemies of the state, but
it ain't over til it's over and this is just one chapter.

BTW, if people from Tennessee think they are getting
the representation in the Senate they expect from our
two Republican senators, think again.

Alexander and Corker were two of six Republican
senators who didn't vote on the Brownback amendment
to the 'pedophile protection act' that was stuck into the
defense bill.

The Brownback amendment clarified that first
amendment rights wouldn't be infringed upon in
prosecuting 'hate crimes' against those who spoke
out against pedophiles, homosexuality or muslims
(and about 57 more classes of nutjobs).

If either Alexander or Corker, or any of the other
four rinos had voted to include that amendment
then the Democrats would have withdrawn the
whole amendment because they want to prosecute
hate crimes including what they call hate speech
as is now currently being done in the Netherlands
against Geert Wilders even though everything
Wilders is saying is the truth.

Insight from an expert in behavioral body language:

Obama is in a classic power pose here. Hands on
the hips, and exposing his genitalia to the Marines
communicates his interest in reminding them that
he is in charge of them.

Marine is in a defense posture here. Arms crossed,
chin down and a look of irritation in his eyes. Also,
the Marine next to him (red shirt) has a look of
frustration on his face. Almost seems to be saying,
"WTF is this worthless @sshole doing in our mess
hall while we are just trying to eat our dinner?"

The USMC clearly does not trust the Communist
in Chief, and I am glad to see that they have the
common sense that so many fools in this Republic
lack.
-------------------------------------------

During the Vietnam war one Major gave up his career
when he publicly asked; "What good does it do to send
a report home from Vietnam when it will eventually end
up on the desk of some communist??"

The Secretary of the Army ordered him to go to his
home in Colorado and not speak to the press, after
consultation with defense deptartment lawyers, the
Major was discharged without prejudice under some
obscure clause about not saying anything detrimental
to the army.

Same thing applies now with military operations
overseas that are reviewed in the pentagon, state
department and other offices, including the Oval
office.

We are prosecuting our own men in courts on the
word of our enemies.

If the present situation had been in place in the
1940s, post war Eisenhower would have been in
prison instead of President of the United States.

Whether or not BHO actually qualifies to be president
under the US constitution, there is no denying that
he is stonewalling and hiding a lot of facts about his
past, this SHOULD NOT be allowed to stand.

lack of communication.....always an issue

I don't think communication is so much a problem as
policy making at high levels in the US government.

For instance the perps dad reported enough
information for some positive action to be taken.

The bit about him probably being in Yemen which
is currently the next Sudan/Afghanistan should be
a red flag enough to revoke the visa......DUH!!
(I think we had other intelligence on him but
who knows?)

Instead of immediately revoking his visa, they put
him on a list to be investigated if/when he reapplied
for another visa. (I think there are about 550,000
on that list)

Here is an account from another passenger on that flight.

Man is he ever longwinded but here is what I wanted
to point out.

The only thing that I recall happening is seeing
an Indian guy off to the side, an older gentleman
wearing a gray suit leaning against the wall.
Suddenly there was a police officer next to him
pulling his arms back and pulling handcuffs on him.

This jibes with the other passenger's account but
the FBI, instead of being open about it, claim this
just isn't true.

BTW, I would guess that both accounts are wrong
to say the guy was Indian, I would bet he was
Pakistani.

Perhaps lack of communication between the American
people and their own government is the major issue!!

just posted this in the other thread:

obama's head terrorism expert just said on cnbc that the reason that this guy got on the plane despite being on the terrorist list was because the list was put into place before they came into office. i.e. it's bush's fault. i kid you not.

How pathetic, just admit that there was oversight and move on.

what i don't understand is just because the list was there before you got there does that mean you are supposed to ignore the contents of the list? i don't understand this argument.

The latest, and its outrageous

Kurt Haskell, a Taylor attorney, told FBI agents what he saw near the boarding gate at Amsterdam when he was questioned at Detroit Metropolitan Airport following Abdulmutallab's alleged attempt to blow up the aircraft, said Haskell's wife Lori, who is also an attorney and was traveling with her husband.

"The two of us were sitting on the floor playing cards," Lori Haskell told The Detroit News. "My husband noticed two men walk up to the ticket counter lady. The only reason he noticed them is that he thought they were really a mismatched pair."

The man they later learned was Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian, wore older, scraggly clothing, but the man who was assisting him, who appeared to be of Indian descent, was dressed in what looked like an expensive suit and shoes, she said.

The well-dressed man told the ticket agent: "We need to get this man on the plane," Haskell recounted. "He doesn't have a passport."

The ticket agent told the man nobody was allowed to board without a passport, to which the well-dressed man replied: "We do this all the time; he's from Sudan," Haskell said, adding she and her husband believe the man was trying to pass Abdulmutallab off as a Sudanese refugee.

The two were then directed down a corridor to talk to a manager, she said.
