Yeah, "close enough"? I am in the freaking middle of Bammer in Birmingham. I am a long way from home (Lynchburg - the home of Jack Daniels ... and Johnny Majors incidentally). There is a decent contingent of us down here though. Tee Martin will be here to speak to the Birmingham Big Orange Club next week!

An old friend of mine has a long time girlfriend that grew up in Gainesville (obviously a Gator but we have been watching the Vols vs. Gators game together for about 10 years) and she always calls Florida State the Semiholes. :birgits_giggle:

Thanks, I believe you are right. It was great a couple of years ago when we beat the gators in Gainesville. I was at that game and the win made the ride back to Tampa sooo much better.

All kidding aside..... I lived in FL (Jupiter and Ft. Walton Beach) for about 10 years of my life and I know exactly what you mean. Those day afters were rough when FL won. I always tried to look at living among gators as an "opportunity" instead of a problem but I never got any mercy from them when they won and even less if they won big!!!! :mega_shok:
