Nice facility. Lockers are sweet.

On a side note...from the comments below the pics:

Seems pretty extravagant for a Pokemon Go training facility

It’s really beautifuly done. Does anyone know who the architect was?

I think I read its some guy named Art Vandalay. Impressive work Mr. Vandalay.

Is that the same art vandalay from the human fund?

Why does the tight end meeting room have tables and the others (shown) don't?

Is that how Jacob Tamme wanted it

I thought interesting that only 2 people on wall. Lol others had more it seemed. Is Kentucky that starved for great tight ends? Iol I think it's a great setup all together. I'm not sure how well will help with recruiting. I question the competitive spirit of players who pick a school based off cell phone chargers and cup holders.

What's the '51 trophy for? What championship did you guys win that year?

Btw, new facility looks great.

Considering we were National Champions in 51. I assumed they are taking one of those old off tier Championships like funk and wagnell or something. Lol

Is that trophy supposed to represent a national title? As in an NCAA football national title? Lol!! You're kidding.

This part is awesome...

/That is some next-level stuff right there and I’ll be *******ned if I don’t respect the hell out of it.

It’s genius when you think about it too. I mean, what’s the Internet Attention Span for a story? 3 days? So you’ll get laughed at for a few days. People will write snarky blog posts and tweet some crying face emojis. Since we’re talking about SEC sports here, it will probably carry over onto the field with signs and heckling for next season. But then everyone forgets about it, and a few years go by, and next thing you know, 17 year old recruits are walking through those doors and seeing that big ass trophy while you talk about “National Champion” Kentucky and their rich tradition.

That my friends is how you establish a culture of winning without actually doing the winning part. Like I said, genius./

I read this the other day and when I saw this thread it made me bust out laughing again. Barstool FTW.

We've had this discussion before, but UK went into the bowl game vs number 1 OU, beat them, and unfortunately the champ was named before. UK claimed a title, and in some services considered #1. Even retroactive rankings considered UK #1.

Not crazy that UK is celebrating the best season in program history. It's not like we've claimed a bunch of seasons without basis.

I'm not bashing it. I mean....look at Bama. But that article is hilarious.

My guess was as good as none. We can all claim NCs. Some in Auburn claim the 04 crown because Oklahoma lost and USC sanctioned. Lol

Tennessee and Kentucky both claim a national title in 1950. Kentucky finished 11-1 that year, Tennessee finished 11-1. Both won bowl games against top 3 opponents. My only question is who won the Tennessee-Kentucky game? I rest my case. It's one of the lamest title claims in CFB by one of the lamest programs in CFB. Only Bama has a worse title claim with their 1941 "championship" (but they have many equally lame ones). The funniest point you made was "even the retroactive rankings considered Kentucky #1". LMAO! ONLY the retroactive rankings, specifically Sagarin, considered Kentucky #1. Even on the Kentucky Wildcats Football wiki it says "not recognized by any of the consensus selectors". It's right below Kentucky's losing overall record of 587-599-44 (.495) and abysmal bowl record of 8-6 (14 bowl appearances in 124 years. WOW!). I even circled it for you in Tennessee Orange :). I really don't have a big problem with Kentucky claiming a title. But it's in a year Tennessee claims one, so I have a huge issue with UK claiming something that rightfully belongs to UT. Kentucky should just shut down the football program and move to the ACC. Take Vandy, too.

I'm gonna go into enemy territory Saturday. My two best friends (Kentucky fans, one with season tickets) are going with me to the game in Knoxville. In return they've asked I go with them to the open practice at Kentucky Saturday morning. I told them it would be interesting to see them watch their team at a time they weren't getting beat. They went to Knoxville with me the last time Kentucky was there, so I'm gonna ride up with them.
