New Uni's?

The jerseys are BY FAR the best part. Imo.

To each their own but the top of the jersey being a completely different pattern than the rest of the uniform doesn't look good to me. Even the orange outlines at the top are just completely cut off at the pattern change. It just doesn't go together imo.

The shorts at least blend together. I don't know that I really like all the little T's up close but I like it from a distance.

Haha. Derrick Rose has $260 million reasons to disagree. I'm speaking of collegiate athletes not professional. I love CM and really think he's doing a stand up job. I just stated IMO kids don't buy Adidas(unless its soccer related) over Nike. They just don't.

I agree. The perception is Nike is "cooler". Rose could have pimped-up with Nike too I would imagine. The reason for adidas to court him is to sway the opinion of kids towards their product, similar to the way Jordan did with Nike in the 80s and 90s. Will he generate the same following? Doubtful.

Why would a lawsuit for using our logo be filed against the company that has exclusive permission to produce our jerseys? Think before you post.
Think about the current lawsuit against UT and all the *****ing and moaning over the lady Vol logo being done away with for the POWER T. DUH. Think before you post or maybe be a little more informed!

I agree Nike is more popular, but in the last two years Ive noticed more and more kids wearing the Adidas Adizero, because of Rose, but its more Durant. Im in now way suggesting that Nike should worry. Just an observation from an IN high school

I just like Nike better than anything Adidas puts out and yes I'm 25 and considered part of the "hip" generation. I wish we would go to Nike even though the contract Adidas offers is much more lucrative to our University. It means more recruits look our way because we are a Nike school and we get much more publicity with gear they put in stores than the Adidas garbage.

I really hate this line. Has a recruit ever said, "Yeah, I had to choose between Tennessee and Alabama. I really liked them both but Tennessee wears Adidas and Alabama wears Nike so that made my choice perfectly clear. Roll Tide." Seriously, I could see a recruit mentioning Oregon where the uniform changes every day because some kids think that's cool but I doubt very seriously that recruits actively choose schools based on what brand produces their uniforms.

All that being said, I do agree that Nike puts out better fan apparel than just about anyone.

What does that have to do with new men's basketball jerseys? Zilch.

They look alright....not ugly, but nothing special. I wish they'd incorporate a checkerboard design in some way.

There used to be IIRC. Baseline endzones in TBA were checkerboard pattern for the first 20+ years, were they not?

I didn't realize the baselines were checkerboarded for basketball. Thought it was just a football thing.

Yeah. Safe to say it is patterned after the football field, but it's recognizable as a UT brand. May as well exploit it.

Nike>>>>> Adidas

But these uniforms are cool. I want us to wear black one time. I think it would look great.

Can adidas get us a set of neon uniforms like Louisville and Baylor wore in the tourney?
