We were never in the mix before we had the guy who coached one of the best D-linemen the NFL has ever seen. I can not imagine any Great defensive player not at least considering the possibility of UT now. I am not saying they will just pour in but I believe with a DC like we NOW HAVE no one is a long shot.

Man, I hope so. I am really excited and curious to see what the Papa Kif effect will be on these defensive players. I have taken off my Orange colored glasses and tried to look at the situation, and I have a hard time coming to terms that a high school prospect would turn down the chance to be coached by one of the greatest defensive minds in the history of the sport. Not really sure what they are looking for if they let an opportunity like this slide by.

From ESPN not sure how recent it is. Jamarkus McFarland considering visit to Florida. Shows he is far from committed anywhere. Maybe Monte can buy him a steak while he is there.

We've got no shot at McFarland. He's pretty widely considered an OU lock and is just visiting to get his free visits around the country.

Well ok if you say so. You may well be right but we are pursuing people who ARE COMMITTED and he is NOT.

Does Hughes count against our scholarships this year? I dont see him on the commit list but he's suppose to be here in Jan.
