New Vacation movie

Well, Chevy isn't getting any younger, and he mainly does occasional acting now.

Chevy in that photo looks like someone who is only in it for the paycheck. Maybe he's thrilled to do the movie but he looks pretty terrible.

Also, I'm really surprised by how good the cast is. I liked Vegas vacation but it didn't have the best rating. Given the mediocre rating from the last movie and the age of Chevy Chase/Beverly D'angelo, I wouldn't have thought so many big names would sign on.

Ed Helms and Charlie Day, that's good stuff.

I'm sure he is honored that the legacy of the original is living on with remaking it completely.

I don't think the Chevy Chase Vacation movies can ever be topped, in my mind anyway. I'm a huge fan---especially of Vacation and Christmas Vacation.

But I think this looks like it could be funny. I'll probably check it out.

I have them on DVD, and watch them occasionally. I'll watch this one also.

Which is why I said the lead. Of those 3, only Cedar Rapids he was the lead and I thought that movie was pretty disappointing. And when he pretty much became the lead in the Office, the quality sank.

The Office had stunk for a while. Carrell was the worst character after season 3 or 4 or so.

Ed Helms was born to play this role

I liked Ethan Embry too and other movies he's done. Dutch, Empire Records, That Thing You Do, Can't Hardly Wait. Man, I can't believe of those movies I just listed, the last one was made in 98! And looking at his list of credits, the last thing I would have seen in him in as far as I can tell is Harold and Kumar. I don't even remember his role in the movie. Now NPH's cameo in Harold and Kumar, that's a role to remember.

I just looked up Ehtan Embry in 2015, he looks totally different today. I see why they decided to go Helms over Embry after seeing him. Helms looks a lot more like a family dad. Embry looks more like an athlete. Or a drug addict. I can't decide which. Depends on the photo.

I see that David Koechner is in it too, nice. And also, Sara Paxton is nice to look at it. Added bonus.

And never heard of it but apparently he was on a Showtime show called Brotherhood that won multiple awards.

Set in an Irish neighbourhood in Providence, the series reflects around two brothers on opposite sides of the law: one a gangster (Jason Isaacs) and the other a politician (Jason Clarke).

Sounds like it could be good.

Brotherhood was great, was loosely based on the real life Whitey Bulger like the Departed was. Unfortunately I don't think they got any ratings so it was cancelled before they really had a chance to wrap it up.

The Office had stunk for a while. Carrell was the worst character after season 3 or 4 or so.

It had dropped in quality, but even the worst episode with Carrell in it was head and shoulders better than anything in Seasons 8 and 9.
