Well, I do know what it's like to loose friends in Combat...as well as loosing my Ol' Man last year. I'm thinking and praying for yours tonight. It's not easy, but your Dad was obviously one Hell of a Man, and loved you very much! Peace Friend....

He's joined many of our folks and his fellow Vols in that great checkerboard in the sky! As long as we remember them, they're with us. Hugs.

My dad passed away in December. He was from Knoxville, but the Army took us to Texas. I attended UT and my sister graduated from UT. We played Rocky Top at the funeral. It was great. We also had a magnetic Power T on the hearse taking him to the Veterans' Cemetary. I wore his bright orange sweater vest. I couldn't be prouder. Go Big Orange.

I am so very sorry about your dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours as well.. Man, that's tough! Long time friend had bagpipers play Rockytop at her graveside.. The love we all hold for Tennessee is amazing!
