dont worry ole buddy, when u get older the weight will hit u like a ton of bricks. I was the same way when i was in my early 20s, as i got older my gut got bigger. I am only about 30 pounds overweight, but i just cant seem to get rid of it. :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

UT's resolution is to drive CC's blood pressure through the roof.

I gave up on that when I realized who I was dealing with :birgits_giggle:

I am going to quit dipping...this is the first time i have tried this...this outta be good..
Man that is tough. I used Copenhagen for nine years and I pretty much always had a dip in, I even remember kissing my girlfriend when I had a dip in. I quit just over 2 years ago and have not had a dip since then. The physical cravings were gone after about 3 days but the mental part lasted about 6 months. During that 6 months I used an herbal snuff called Smokey Mountain and one called BackOff. The BackOff was better but sometimes hard to get a hold of. The Smokey Mountain they sold at Wal Mart (maybe they still do?). If you get over the initial physical cravings try and use the memory of how bad that time sucks (and it does suck) when you are tempted to hit the worm dirt again.

I will add when I smoked I was never overweight.
I was really surprised to find out how much of my "metabolism" was really just nicotine. I think I threw on about 20 pounds but eventually got it down to about a 10 pound net gain. I'd rather have a little extra weight than be a slave to nicotine.

Yeah, I put on a few pounds when I quit too. I'd much rather have a few extra pounds though than to go back to puffing on those nasty things again :yuck:

Gotta have more then one resolution for a back up plan.

Resolution 1 is lose another 10pds after losing 30 this year.
Resolution 2 is to make it to at least one Vol home game this year. Had reservations and tickets for LSU game but nature got into the way of that game.
Resolution 3 is to get to know the women Jmxvol hang out with. Love his resolution.

My resolution, which is rather "general," is to make 2006 COUNT.

As I have grown older, and hopefully a tad wiser, I am starting to realize that days, weeks, months, and even years can slip away without you even noticing. My hope is that I can make the most of my numbered days and look back, a year from now, at all I accomplished in 2006.

Maybe our resolutions should be to accept ourselves the way we are and be thankful that we have so many blessings.

Good post LIO and I agree. I think to show everyone that you have accepted yourself you should start off by posting a pic.

Did that all last yr, my boys are 3 and 7 now, my youngest has 2nd child syndrome if he had come 1st he'd probably be an only child. (Don't get me wrong I love him as much as my 1st, he's just more challenging) :mf_surrender:
