All we need to determine is what the acceptable number of casualties is so that we can limit implements to the citizens so as to not exceed those casualty levels. Then when they find a way to exceed those casualty levels we’ll take more implements away. After all this is a tool problem not an individual accountability problem.

The police were not there. In fact they are damn near NEVER there* when things actually go down, be it in public or at home. Who WAS there was an armed individual who was able to meet force with force and likely saved live in doing so.

*That's not the LEOs fault. Only an absolute idiot would have the expectation that a cop would be right there on scene when needed.
