News coming Saturday about NASCAR

Deb Williams (Autoweek) mentioned on the radio an announcement was coming Saturday concerning NASCAR. Something she wasn't able to indulge at this time. Any guesses??

Saw a clip a week or so ago from Dale Jr.'s podcast that he wasn't happy with what he was hearing about it. What ever that means?

It will be interesting to see how they navigate it. The sport has to be relevant to the manufacturers and the consumers. Look at the fact Chevrolet doesn’t even have a new production car to field in cup and xfinity. To me that’s a real issue, in terms of how relevant things are.

For me, the racing is paramount, but the noise is really important. I could see this electric series replacing ARCA.

Point driven. Lots of manufacturers are phasing out sedans altogether. Mid sized SUVs and compact SUVs get equal gas mileage as sedans, and people prefer to sit more level and higher up.

The classic sedan isn’t wanted or needed anymore.

Can you please explain that? Easier to move the steering wheel or tie the driver to the upside door?
