how well the vols do will depend on how much talent serrano can get to knoxville in one year?

if you actually doubled tennessee's run production in league games (which would be unheard of improvement), they would still have been 6th in the SEC in runs scored.

if you reduced tennessee's ERA in league games by a run and a half, they would still be 7th in the SEC in ERA.

it's was a god awful year, with a god awful coach, and a god awful roster.

Can't deny that even in a bad year Toles, and Osborne both played amazing on offense, and defense.
The Crimson Tide picked on Osborne in game one then sorrowed as Osborne would get even in game two, and game three.
Both finished the 2011 season excellent with Osborne producing a successful bunt, Toles producing a clutch hit, and Osborne scoring the winning run.

toles didn't even have a .300 on base percentage.

maybe that qualifies for amazing. i don't know.
