... before totally screwing Florida out of the SECe. BOTH calls were TOTALLLY awful. That was a forward pass on the fake kick AND that ball was bobble on the TD.

I have never seen worse officiating, and that it was on replay is simply inconceivable.

Jabar Gaffney disagrees.

He caught it. The lateral was as close as it could be to a forward pass, but....

Losing isn't the problem, it's how we're losing, and even how we're winning. The play calling is stale and predictable, we can't snap the ball, can't run the ball, horrible offensive and defensive line play, poor tackling, etc. As I said, that my satisfy you, but when a team as talented as the Gators has the 98th ranked offense in the nation, there's a problem. We had 68 total yards of offense going in to halftime yesterday, and LSU out gained us by 70 yards through the air by time the game was over. That's pathetic.

This coaching staff is trash, and changes need to be made asap.

Wow, this sounds eerily familiar... And I thought we had problems...

After watching both some more the TD was probably good. Or, at a minimum, it could not be overturned based on replay.

But I am surprised they didn't correct the call on the fake kick. I guess the problem is that because the camera is at an angle to the play, they didn't feel comfortable overturning it.

Still, fact is that it was a forward pass.

So if the camera angle wasn't good enough to over turn it, it was still good enough to tell it was?

So basically it could have went either way.

Did you even watch our 2005 or 2007 teams? Meyer didn't make changes to the staff after either year. 2005/6 we sucked on offense.... we just had a big play guy in P. Harvin. This offense has always been predictable. We've run the dive play over 60 times this year alone. Our 2007 defense was one of the worst in UF history but that team had 10 future NFL picks. All programs go through this but our fans are the one that point it out the most. Horn fans aren't calling for the jobs of Mack and company.

Yes I did. The problems of the 2005 were understandable. We were in a transitional phase, implementing a new staff and a new system, all the while being short on talent. In 07, we scored and scored big. We were able to sustain drives, snap the ball, and protect our QB. The defense gave up tons of points, but they were young, and at the very least you could see the potential.

The 07 and 08 offenses weren't predictable. In fact, both were considered top notch offenses. On top of that, our players were actually being coached up, evident by the tremendous number of players we've sent to the draft over the last couple seasons.

As I said, there's no excuse for being this pathetic on offense. This is the worst Gator offense since the early 80's. But instead of attending to our issues, we get to hear from Addazio about how "diverse" our offense has been and how Pouncey grades out as a champion despite his porous play. It's unacceptable. Period.

It wasn't a forward pass, and even it were, the staff should've been prepared for a fake. It was a 53 yard field goal, his career long was 52 yards, and even if he had made it, the game only would have been tied. To make matters worse, LSU called a timeout before kicking it(as if they'd ice their own kicker), practically signaling they were planning to attempt a fake. But of course, despite they above, we send the house at them.

Pathetic.

Indeed. But I don't intend to wait on it to get worse. Fix the problems now and avoid further mediocrity.

It sounds like Foley and Urban attended the Conference on "How to run an athletic department and it's respective sports teams" hosted by our Mike Hamilton and Phil Fulmer!

LSU didn't do a good job of hiding it. At least watching it on TV. The only to players the coach talk to during the TO and before they run on the field was the kicker, and the holder.

Yep, and the kicker whispered in the place kickers ear right before he lined up. It was about as predictable as last weeks jump pass.

The biggest disappointment to me has been the offensive line. By all accounts, they should be terrific this year and the run blocking in particular is just not there. There have been some injuries, yes, and Pouncey at center is as big a failed experiment as one can imagine. Still, one would have expected a lot more this year out of the running game.

Leave it to Les to give away the biggest secret in the game.

And still win.
