After looking at a sample of what our defense looks like, i see alot of potential. I really believe this nxt yrs Defense will be even better than this year. I believe the loss of Morley actually helps us out. The kid has tons of athletic ability, but his football I.Q. is very low. I look back at alot of our games, and on big time touchdown passes against us were from Morley blowing his assignments.
Here is how i see it:

DE: A. Reynolds & R. Ayers
DT: D. Bolden & J.Mapu
LB: J. Mayo, Karl (if not senior?), McCoy
CB: Hefney & E. Berry
S: R. Fellows & Wardlow (McKenzie)

This is just my Point of View, whats yours?

Mapu and Bolden
Mayo, Karl , and McCoy
CB: Berry and Willingham
S: Hefney and Mckenzie (or Wardlow - haven't seen McKenzie play yet but he sounds promising)

The main thing I am worried about is improvement from our D-Line. We played a lot of young guys this year, so hopefully the experience they gained this year will really help them for next year.

LB and secondary wise, I think we will be just fine.

We are extremely deep at linebacker, all kinds of talent already there but if he plays the way most people believes that he can, then he'll see the field quite a bit.

Karl will start only because he is a senior with game experience, but he is not as gifted as the other LB's that we have.

I agree he is not as gifted as some of our LB'S, but he plays smart and is a fierce competitor, I expect Donald to push him for playing time,

On paper we're All American in the secondary but noone is mentioning Deshaun Barnes in the secondary. However if we can get it going on the DL then we will be hell to deal with ! If you have a hell of pass rush and run stoppers on defense then a mediocre secondary will look like All Americans (ex: see 2007 Chicago Bears) at least until Sunday

I am so glad to see Antwaun Stewart getting the hell out of dodge. Thanks for the years you were on the team, but on another note, thanks for nothing! Good luck with your future.

Stewart got beat a lot..:hmm: I think Ryan has made a positive effect on the team. He may not be as gifted as the others but football is not always about everything physical.

I mentioned Barnes as a sleeper in another thread. He looks good, but will be a freshman. Willingham and McKenzie will be sophomores.

I know for a fact that Willingham played 2 years at a JUCO. He has 2 years of eligibility left. I'm not sure about McKenzie.

Yeah, I also know Willingham played for 2 years in JUCO, and I assumed he would have 2 years of eligibility. Let me find the HV post that I am referencing to make sure he wasn't talking JUST about McKenzie.

Not sure on the years.

Barnes will be a LB. We recruited him for it(ala AMW and Burnett) and he has played LB his last 2 years.

If you knew Willingham played two years at a JUCO, then why are you arguing that he will be a sophomore and have three years of eligibility left?

Holy crap dude. I'm not arguing! I'm freaking discussing! I said, "Let me check" because I don't know ALL the NCAA rules, and neither do you. Sometimes you have loopholes, exceptions, etc. Jesus Christ, quit being a damn instigator.
