Neyland renovations restarting

The location of the stadium is awesome, IMO. A lot of schools have built new stadiums over the past 40 years or so, but have had to do it away from campus to have enough room for parking, etc. Having an on-campus football stadium and arena are so much better.

I am old and a traditionalist, but I thought the university made a huge mistake by not buying land in the south side of the river when it was dirt cheap and moving the athletic complexes over there with nice pedestrian bridges and improved roads. We could have built state of the art venues that could have been the best in the country.
It’s not too late. With the way the City is failing to develop the area it may be an option in another few years.

They're still a lot of run-down houses over there south of CityView condos I'm sure they could convince to sell.
