I enjoy the games with my father who is older and "needs assistance". He is still loud and never tells anyone to sit down. He has to ride the elevator and hates every minute of it but he bleeds orange. He had open heart surgery and watched the 6 OT Arkansas game from his ICU bed yelling across the river from Downtown Baptist. So, not all the "need assistance" are the problem.(jakez4ut @ Jul 7 said:ah, and there in lies the problem, most of the folks at the stadium these days need assistance to stand up anymore...hence the requests for those that can stand under our own power to remain seated!!!!!!!
wasn't intended to offend, and it was a generalization, so sorry if i did offend...my grandfather who is 80+ years old was going to games up until 3 years ago as well...and he would classify as the needs assistance as well....which is why he stopped going to the games every year...(bigdaddy @ Jul 7 said:I enjoy the games with my father who is older and "needs assistance".
