Yessiree, I remember like it was yesterday when all they wanted to do was just tear down a few confederate statues. Some of us back then who weren’t naive said they would never stop. Take a good look at the Neyland statue the next time you’re at the stadium because it’s coming down one day. Maybe not in 5 years, 10 years or even 20 but it’s destined for the dustbin.

If the African American players raise a stink about it, then it will change. Hell, the football and basketball players run the AD departments now so if they want all arenas and stadiums named after George Floyd and Colin Kaepernick then that is what will happen.

Hell, Mike Gundy had to take a $1m cut in salary because he wore a t-shirt a player didn't like.

I was talking to my dad about the statue. I said theyll want to take that down next. All these heros statues coming down are sad...

Yet, here we are with statues being torn down or willingly removed by city governments of people like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, US Grant, Columbus, Saints, abolitionists etc...

Some members of the left & MSM are actively talking about destroying Mt. Rushmore. I'd assume the Liberty Bell & Statue of Liberty is next.

At this point I would not be surprised of anything happening! If the liberal left and their extreme activist organizations demand it be gone/changed.

If the dems take over next year, they'll be removed, no doubt. The media will bury it as not to cause anger. Of course America's response now is very weak at best.

Really....you saw how the AD (Fulmer, Pruitt, etc.) backed the players during this fiasco. You see it with other schools with player that won't play because of (BLANK).

The horse is out of the barn. There is no turning back, unfortunately.

And, they basically had Gundy on his knees begging to keep his job. If the players wanted him fired they would have....sad

Or that was just the last straw, fairly or unfairly, for a guy who threatened to send kids back to the ghetto. The same guy who allegedly called one of his team mates the N word.

It will be less than 5 years. The university might even take it down before any pressure so that they look "fair and equal." They will be so afraid of negative recruiting, and they will be competing with other universities that changed their own history to appease the minority.
Never thought they would be one of the first universities to require flu vaccine to enroll, and set the requirement when Covid vaccine is available must have that one also.
Never thought our coach would be ignorant enough to state live they would be donating to BLM.
