Not quite. You can take my word on it. I was there. Student section had some big holes in it an there were empty seats scattered about, especially in the upper deck end zone.

Not to insult but are you sure you know where the student section is? We had people standing in isles without seats

Today was first time ever seeing the Vols at home . My wife and I attended she is not a football fan but I will tell you by the end of the 3rd quarter she was yelling and cheering to no end ! It was an awesome experience and can't wait to do it again !

It gets pretty loud from time to time, but on the 4th down play in the first half that GA converted it hit a level I had yet to experience. It was awesome.

That play was the loudest since Cal 2006, hands down, no question.

I am talking about the section just below the sky boxes to the right (when facing) in the upper deck. Is that area not reserved for students? IIRC, this would be something like section EE. There were large sections with no one sitting in them.

What game were you at?

All the gaps in the seats were in the upper deck. We were packed in the student section like rats.

Well, then you should have moved into section EE. There were huge sections of empty seats up there. I had a nice view of it from section P, where I have been watching games in person since 1968.

Btw, I was at the Georgia game. Which game did you go to?
