Neyland Tonight..

I will never understand why everyone bashes us (students) on here when the students that actually read this are true fans and bleed orange. I've been at every single game cheering as loud as I could. While I'm doing this half the people on this board who are bashing us are sitting down complaining about people standing up.

We had a blast and yelled like mad! Too bad and sad so many sold out to dawg fans. Some real fans they were to not be there themselves.. you can tell there's a unity and strength coming to our team.. hate to lose but they didn't hand us our Asses like they thought they would.. we gave them a run for their money..

GO VOLS...
GO BIG ORANGE...

I can't wait to be at the game in two weeks. It will be my first major crowded event outside of my town since losing my leg this spring. I'll still be in the wheelchair but I bet the Vols will have me on my feet more than a couple times during the game.

It's time to finish strong!

Mr. Glenn?

We aren't bashing the Students like you who show up and make noise, we are bashing the ones you don't even show up! But your right the fans who sit around and barely golf clap suck...

As loud as I can remember in Neyland. At one point, thought I was going to pass out from yelling so hard.

I have lost my voice. nearly everyone in the student section was the same way. Proud of the fans and the team. We all wanted it so bad and was so close. Play calling was great in the second half.. the energy was great, the team played great defensively. Worley played decent.

i'm going to enjoy the rest of my night with a smile on my face. it won't be long.

Butch is taking Dooley's players and turning them into warriors, the team didn't give up. We could have easily when we were down 17-7 in the 3rd punting from our own end zone.

Voice gone as well. I think my wife and daughter are getting ideas lol.

I was sitting in the end zone behind the recruits and their families. I have to say it was pretty awesome seeing the recruits turning around and looking up into the stands in awe of the atmosphere.

Hope that it played loud over the airwaves. Section U was rocking, but the student section, wow! It was as loud tonight as it was when beat them '09, maybe more so! Not as large of a crowd and every bit as loud...

Man...I've been going to games since 1974 and it's been like that as long as I can remember. The best times I've ever had in Neyland Stadium were always in the student section!!! And at the Last Lap afterwards! Lol

Section E Row 8 Seat 20.

I think as a senior that it is safe to say this was and will remain as the most incredible atmosphere at Neyland during my student career. Words cannot explain the energy that existed within the student section this afternoon/evening. I am seriously in awe. I had no idea Neyland could be that loud (I didn't even watch football until my first year here. Never got to experience the golden days).

old people:

get off our (student's) collective back. We showed up. We showed we're still hardcore; we just want a quality product on the field to cheer for. Once we win more consitently, this atmosphere will become the standard once again

Getting tired of the students being called out when we've had a losing record for 3 consecutive season

Nice to know you only show up when we're winning. How about the fans that show up regardless of the team status, you don't see us making excuses.

You're going to keep getting called out as long as we consistently keep seeing perfectly good seats going to waste up in your section.

Wasn't in the student section, nobody had a voice around me. I notice on the call in show that everyone was hoarse, too.

One of the better atmospheres we've had in awhile. It almost felt like the good ol' days except we didn't win. That's going to come. The team took a big step today even in a loss. We haven't been able to say that in a damn long time. If Butch can get this team to play like that with nowhere near the talent that UGA has and the other upper echelon SEC teams then I can't wait to see what we'll look like in 2 years.
