Replacing Edge with Addai is like replacing Shakira with Kathy Bates.

 I don't know how you could have put it any better or more vividly than that.

Saying that Young is going to be a possible bust is like saying Vick was at the time he was drafted too.....some people just need to lay off the crack.....Vince Young BEAT Matt Leinart and Texas BEAT USC.....Young had almost 500 yards total offense in the Rose Bowl....can you tell me the last time a National Championship quarterback was such a beast other than Matt "Crinart".....I like them both but just as Reggie Bush does, Vince Young offers many more weapons than Leinart......Whose the only QB to lead the Titans/Oilers to the Super Bowl the past 10 years??? Steve McNair. And if you compare the two then you see very close comparisons.....Young is faster and a much better physical specimen and McNair is just alittle better passer......If you think VY is gonna be a bust then you must be smoking the Leaf.....Ryan Leaf that is...... :disappointed: :disappointed:

I saw Vince Young play live in October 2004. He led Texas to exactly 0 points against Oklahoma. Please show the great accomplishments Michael Vick has put together in the NFL. Look at the great job he did in the playoffs this year. Oh, that's right, he didn't even get the Falcons into the postseason. Vince Young's "I'll run around because I can't really throw" act won't play in the NFL. He'll be an overhyped version of Anthony Wright, nothing more.

The reservations about young are well-deserved. Here are the knocks:

1. He plays in a system offense. System offenses = bad translation to the league
2. He lined up in shotgun a TON. You have to line up under center.
3. A high 4.5 forty time is not fast enough to run away from NFL defenses.
4. Cannot make reads. He never really had to in college.
5. Poor passing mechanics. He throws like Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.
6. Arm strength is only adequate. Can't make all the NFL throws.
7. Mental capacity. Is he smart enough to command a full playbook?
8. Impatient. Takes off and runs way too much, and read no. 3.

What's up with Chad Jackson falling to the 2nd round and to New England of all places?

I was surprised as well..best WR in the draft...I was very pleased with the Panthers picking up DeAngelo Williams! :devilsmoke:

I think he and Santonio Holmes were tied for best WR in the draft. But they went one and two for wideouts, right? So it's all good. Plus, Chad Jackson went to a bitchin' pass offene, so good for you NC. Your boy will do just fine.

I'd forgot about Shocks.

They gonna try him out at WR or let him be the third string QB?

DJ Shockley finally went. To the Falcons

And with that pick, the Falcons prove they don't learn from their mistakes.

I forget who drafted him now, but the QB from Penn State had "RB" next to his name on the draft board.

The Titans I think came out the best overall. For all we know, Leinart may turn out to be another Ryan Leaf. I'll stand behind Jeff Fisher and Norm Chow just as I do Coach Fulmer and David Cutcliffe. I can't believe we picked up White from USC.Great luck! Albert and Jessie rushing qbs.Henry,White and Brown, backfield, Young eventual qb. Let's see.White- National Championship,Young-National Championship. Doesn't sound too bad to me. I wish we had a legal betting board when the season rolled around.I might be a rich man when the season ended. :biggrin2:
