i agree brown is a better back than most realize, in my opinion....much better than caddilac ....hope the fins get a chance at him and also he has no dreadlocks

I also heard he's allergic to many types of grasses. :D

IMO Ronnie Brown will be #1 pick and if he's not the team that doesn't pick him will regret it after he hits the field

Depends on whatever the 49'ers need more, and we all known they have their eyes set on Rodgers. That's not detracting from Brown, though. He will still be a top 5 pick easy and Williams will be a top 10 pick.

Wherever those 2 go, I am glad they are gone. I would much rather hear about them on Sunday's instead of Saturday's.

True... Has there ever been an NFL athlete that you really admire that came from a school you despise?

Worst ever for me was Hershel Walker. There's no way not to like a guy who was that humble and had that kind of work ethic.

I don't know about you... I don't despise Georgia, though. If there were any SEC school I'd like to go to, Georgia would be right up there with UT.

For my own question, I was gonna have to say Emmitt Smith. He's my favorite player of all time. I named my teddy bear after him when I was three. But, I cannot stand Florida.

Could be worse - if you were 3 years old now, you might have named that teddy bear Ciatrick Faison.

Well, it's just 'cause he played for the Boys...

Favorite RB of all time: Emmitt Smith
Favorite QB of all time: Troy Aikman

See the pattern? Come to think of it, I'm not particularly fond of UCLA, either.

I could care less about the #1 pick, I'm more interested in watching where Matt Jones ends up and with which pick. Man, I'm glad he's done at Arky.

Why's that?

If Clausen is still trying to break into the NFL, I don't see Matt Jones doing well in the draft. Nothing personal. I liked his play. But, he was very inconsistent. He basically showed up every other Saturday. Bad news if you caught him on his up week. Still tough on his down week, but you could always count on him to have some sort of game ending super error that seniors should have been better at avoiding. If someone, such as the Falcons, needs a QB that can take a beating AND get back up, he'd surely be your man. No lack of heart.

I doubt you'll see Jones at QB. He ran a 4.4 at the combine. At 6'5" with that kind of speed, I see somebody taking a shot at him as a receiver.

Oh, he definitely can run for a big and tall guy. That was his most dangerous asset. You could be right. You may not can teach Maurice how to run under a 4.7, but you could probably teach Matt how to catch. And he'd be fast enough to get to the ball. Matt Jones does deserve a chance somewhere. You're right about not at QB. So, maybe someone will take a gamble on his size and speed. We are all aware of his running ability. He just didn't get out of trouble in the pocket, he got gone. He has guts and the heart to go on.
