Interesting argument, but no. He is a great piece of a machine no doubt, but without the other pieces he needs, he is average at best. Aaron Rogers and Peyton make everybody else around them better. Brady, not so much. Look at his performances without Edelmann or Gronkowski. Average.

To be fair, Brady did have trash to throw to back in the day. None the less, he had Belicheck. As well as other teams plays, which I would assume is beneficial. :dunno:

Also, Brees.

Rodgers struggled this year without his guys. IDC who you are, if you are missing several starting weapons, the offense is going to struggle. It's not just about having talent in there, it's about having reps together.

I think Troy Brown was pretty underrated and so was Branch (when healthy). But no, he never had superstar WRs in the early days. Brown was hard to guard and helped them to develop the offense that made Welker and Edelman into stars.

Belichek. Yup. He makes Brady look superhuman. I'd like to see him against Saban.

True.

I was thinking back to f***ing Jabar Gaffney. Hated him as a Gator, hated him as a Pat. F*** that mother f***er.

Too harsh?

Jesus he single-handedly made Wes Welker a hall of famer. Go back and look at the weapons he had early in his career. Troy Brown, Deion Branch, Kevin Faulk, David Patten.

Well, I would say Welker had something to do with it, but yeah, he needs to thank Brady and the coaching staff for inventing the offense that allowed him to thrive.

If Brady loses, I blame it on the hair. Those luscious locks were like his cape that enamored his opponent like a girl's gape.

I say differently.

So that means they have to come off as bias all day? The Patriots are also defending cheaters. Why not come off as "haters" as opposed as Patriots fans as long as they're not being neutral.

They aren't being bias. Actually you hate the Patriots, hence any praise you see towards the Patriots is favoring them and unfair. Hence you are actually being biased.

The Warriors get slobbered on all the time and I think get the benefit of the doubt all the freaking time. You probably don't think that because you like them and I'm probably wrong because I don't like them.

Thomas has been terrible with drops, but that last one was a tough catch. It's the AFCCG, and you need him to make big plays, but I'm not going to blast him over that one.

Think he also jammed a finger or something as well. Immediately grabbed his left hand when he landed.

We're fans and aren't supposed to be neutral. I've heard 0 praise for Peyton Manning who has been the better QB throughout his career but they make excuses for the Patriots and make comments clearly in favor of the Patriots. Why not praise the team that's actually winning? Anyways, to each their own. I'm giving my opinion to a few fans on a message board as a fan and not a paycheck with an obligation to be neutral. They on the other hand are. The one in particular gets giddy over the Patriots while acting non-chalant about the Broncos.

Fwiw, you're a Michigan/Brady fan.

Zero praise? Simms said Manning looked like his old self and playing great after the second TD. Not sure what you're talking about but that's okay.

Fwiw, you're a Tennessee/Manning. Which I am also. I'm not sure you're point other than I like Tom Brady and I like Peyton Manning.
