Money continues to pile on New England Patriots in Las Vegas

The betting action in Las Vegas is piling up on the New England Patriots, leaving sportsbooks with a decision heading into championship Sunday.

On Saturday, the Patriots were holding steady as three-point favorites over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. The money was lopsided on New England.

At Caesars Palace sportsbooks, five times as much money had been wagered on the Patriots compared to the underdog Broncos. At William Hill's Nevada book, 85 percent of the money bet was on New England. The story was the same almost everywhere. Barring a dramatic rush of game-day money on the Broncos, Vegas will be a big Peyton Manning fan on Sunday.

Does Denver match up any better with Arizona or Carolina? I heard that Zona was hurting in the secondary

Why was it dumb? If he could have run it back it would have been 2 for the ponies. Go down short of that, no harm no foul.

I'll amend it slightly. I understand bringing it out, but as soon as the traffic got to him, he needed to lay down. The only hope for NE was to punch the ball out (which they did) and then scoop and score.

True dat. I was thinking that that was the only downside. Still a pretty low risk play, but definitely fueled by adrenaline and probably would have been better had he taken a knee.

If this is in fact Peyton's final season, he can use the offseason and next season to show his new Broncos Super Bowl ring(should he win) with his old Colts Super Bowl ring to recruits and hang out with the Dobbs/Dormady while giving them some pointers. Would be good times.

Brady dropped back 62 times to pass I believe while they only ran 15 times(one being a QB sneak that I remember by Brady).

56 pass attempts... 4 sacks... 2 scrambles by Brady(3 total runs with the QB sneak).

All the talking heads this week figured the Pats were going to roll and many thinking it was going to be by 2 or more scores. Meanwhile they all agreed this game would be close.

Just a reminder that ESPN et all are just noise and don't know jack.
