NFL Game Thread

If the Vikings knew bridgewater would be this kickass they would have started week 1.

Their qb and rb problem have been removed.
The falcons are crashing and burning.

The last Sunday of September would be the debut of two rookie qbs bridgewater and bortles both of those last names start with a b.

What happened? Last I saw, Steelers were up 24-20 with not a lot of time left.

Gave up a pass td and couldn't get a first down to eat up clock.
Goes to show you any given Sunday.

Also damn j j watt with a long td on a int easily today. J j watt is a Swiss Army knife.
Texans win a nailbiter over the bills 3-1 a one game losing streak.

Patterson a beast returning and easily caught a catch.

meh. We were in a game to the very last play despite doing jack squat on offense.

I'm good.

Damn saints with int and they continue to stink up the joint.

Not shocked they suck on the road and it remains a obvious fact.

Payback is a royal bane as the boys are over the roadkill saints or should I say aints.

17-0

24-0

Saints a bonfied scrub tonight on the road.
So worst case scenario was having to play the boys a year later. Damn Stephen a smith must be Embarrassed he picked the saints to go to,the Super Bowl.

I think tonight is one of his good games. ....this one will make cowboy fans go insane when he gives the Jags a couple of free touchdowns.

You're right so far. Romo can look great in one game and throw multiple soul crushing interceptions in the next.

I thought the Saints would play much better than this, especially considering it's in a dome. So far they have played terrible:yuck:. It baffles me how they can be so good at home and suck so bad on the road.

They simply suck on the road.

Also cowboys have hung 31-3 the saints shall forever remember the cowboys bringing terminator shotguns to demolish the saints.
It's like thor wasting the nameless thugs in the movie Thor.

Man... Sean Payton is f'n stupid.

4th down with 7 minutes left, down 14. He decided to bring out the punting unit and I'm like, "damn, what an idiot". You're down 14 and punting with 7 minutes. So, obviously if you bring out the punting unit at that point in the game, they're going to be watching for the fake punt. And that's what the Saints did, they ran a fake punt. You could see it coming from a mile away. Now... aside from that being stupid regardless of who your QB is, the Saints have an all-time great QB. Only 5 QB's have passed for 5,000 yards in a season. Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Drew Brees. Of those 5, everyone but Brees has accomplished that feat 1 time in their career. Brees on the other hand has done it 4 times. Taking the ball out of Brees hands for an obvious an fake punt has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

And saints d couldn't defend Fort Knox.

The saints again prove why they suck on the road along with why Ryan was fired in Dallas.

So saint lose to cowboys in the payback of fhe saints.

Saints 0-3 on fhe road fhis warrants fhem not being favored iron the road until they win a damn road game.

Cowboys 3-1 and saints 1-3 not sure many would believe that before the season started but that's the great unpredictability of the nfl.

:good!:
I agree with you, that was a stupid decision. It was fairly obvious that they were going to fake it, especially with the pre-snap motion. If you're going to go for it anyway, why let your punter (who has never thrown a pass in the NFL) throw instead of your HOF QB:shakehead:.

I must admit that (with the exception of the 1st game) the cowboys are actually having a good start to the season. I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon and say they're a playoff team yet as it's still too early.

Um yes as we've seen this movie of the cowboys looking like a good team for a fair portion of the season before a choke job. Still a young season with a lot of football left.

Lions look great but still a young season with 13 weeks left, and given their history not jumping on that bandwagon either. The lions like the boys not to be trusted.

The crashing birds aka falcons again show why they suck on the road as bridgewater lead the Vikings to a impressive win in his debut. No doubt the rams regret not drafting him.

Texans could use JJ watt as a running back on some plays like goaline situations.
The packers continue their dominance over the bears with bad cutler showing up.
The bills have lost two straight after a 2-0 straight. No doubt slight panic for bills fans with the same inconsistency issues.
