NFL Game Thread

Fitz owns this town. Everybody expected him to leave this past offseason. Nobody thought he would have this kind of year. He shouldna taken a pay cut

The OT rules are better now than they were, but I do wish they would guarantee each team one possession and then if it's still tied, next score wins.

I saw a slow-mo of the coin flip. Went up flat, came down flat, bounced once but never turned over even once. What are the chances of that happening?

The rules for FGs is fine.

I think if the first team scores a TD the second team should get a chance to score and be forced to go for 2.

If the first team gambles and gets 2 then game over. If the defense can't stop a TD and 2pt conversion then that team doesn't deserve to win. If the first team gambles and doesnt get 2 the second team only needs a PAT to win.

Or you could do the logical, common sense, and much simpler solution of both teams get an offensive possession.

It's really not that hard.

Its easy to 2nd guess now but maybe GB should have punted with 246 left instead of going for it at their own 25

Both teams score a TD then sudden death isn't much better than straight up sudden death. It's great that the second team got a chance to tie but now all the first team has to do is kick a FG. How is that really any better?I It just prolongs the OT.

The NFL wants OT to be quick.

Yeah Pitt is beat up and this is like a 10am game for the Seahawks..then we see a Pats vs Panthers SB

If the AFC championship game is in Foxboro, I would agree with you. However, the Patriots worst nightmare is playing at Denver, and I think the Broncos will win this afternoon.

Because both teams got a chance on offense. It's most definitely better than the current setup where one team may never get the chance on offense.
