NFL Scouting Combine

Bray put on some good weight and he has the best arm of the whole group. I have to think he's looking like a late 1st or 2nd Rd pick. I think Dallas, KC, Buffalo, Oakland or the Jets will take him.

Hunter probably put himself late in the 1st Rd, today. Ran a 4.41 and he's a more polished WR than Stephen Hill was last year. Looked really good in drills.
Please don't tell me that you are saying that KC is going to use their 1st pick on Bray

Patterson just ran a great time--4.37--but as Mayock says, i'm not sure he's polished enough to be a good NFL wide receiver, at least right away. If he becomes good, imo it will take him a couple of years. Right now, to me, he's an fantastic athlete trying to be a wide receiver. He'll be drafted very high because of his athleticism and potential. It's like the list of players who've run the fastest times ever at the combine: While Chris Johnson became a star, nearly all the rest of the top 10 did not make a mark on the league.

As a Titans fan, I would rather have Bray than Locker (10th pick).
I agree, totally. Bray had better production in College and has a much better completion percentage.

Locker looked bad his senior year and looks bad since. I would jump on Bray early in the 3rd, if he is still there. I hope the Titans get CP, Hunter, or Rodgers, in this draft. they really need that extra big threat opposite of Britt. Plus, Britt has only shown flashes of greatness. He is either hurt or in trouble off the field. I'd view Britt as if he is an accessory and not a key part of the WR Corps.

Chill, Captain Kneejerk. You do realize most every Draft pundit is expecting them to take Joekel, OT, in the first. How does that preclude them from taking Bray at 32?

That's not so crazy, actually. Why do you think runners try to carry the least weight as possible? They are extremely fussy about running shoes...down to the ounces. He is carrying about 5lbs of hair. That's why you don't see too many Olympic sprinters with dreads.

Who cares if he runs a 4.3 or 4.4, as long as its under 4.5, which is was, its about how good of a fball player you are. Hes still the #1 WR in the draft

The guy who holds the combine record had dreads.

I was just making sure that someone wasn't being a little unrealistic haha

Sure...even Chris Johnson did, but that wasn't the point in question. It was whether or not he could have gotten a better time without a few lbs of hair to carry. If there is any question, look at the 100m track guys. All short hair.

A number of teams are taking their future franchise QB late in the 1st to early in the 2nd...even a bit later. 49'ers, Bengals, Browns, Seahawks, Steelers (Rothlesberger), Ravens (Flacco) etc.
